At the start of the Lunar New Year, lanterns are hung high above the streets of Beijing, filling the air with a vibrant festive atmosphere as families and friends gather to celebrate. In 2025, we commemorate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand. From February 5th to 8th, Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra is on a state visit to China.
On the evening of February 5th, Prime Minister Paetongtarn took the lead with her delegation and chose Reignwood Group as the first stop on their civil society visit. Prime Minister Paetongtarn and her team visited the China Energy Drink Museum on the first floor of Reignwood Center, where they explored the history, technological advancements, and market trends of China's energy drink industry.
In the 1990s, Chinese and Thai businesses worked closely together to successfully introduce Red Bull to China. Over the past 30 years, they have upheld their commitment to "empowering the Chinese people to thrive and become stronger during the era of reform and opening up." Along the way, they have also witnessed the enduring friendship of "China and Thailand as one family." For many years, Mr. Yan Bin, Chairman of Reignwood Group, a leader in the overseas Chinese community and a patriotic entrepreneur, has been dedicated to promoting economic, trade, and cultural exchanges between China and Thailand. He has actively leveraged the advantages of the company’s resources and platform, becoming an important force in people-to-people exchanges. Under his leadership, with the pioneering efforts and long-term commitment of the China Red Bull team and their partners, the company has grown from a market and product void to achieving a total industrial output of over 60 billion cans, establishing itself as a pioneer and success story in China's functional beverage industry.
During their visit, the Thai delegation also gained an understanding of China's beverage industry chain integration capabilities and the vast development potential of the health products market. This provided valuable experience and insights for deeper cooperation between Chinese and Thai businesses in functional beverages, health industries, and beyond. Following this, Prime Minister attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Thai Baan Restaurant on the fourth floor of Reignwood Center. The Thai restaurant, a high-end Michelin dining brand carefully crafted by Reignwood Group, is not only dedicated to providing green and healthy meals but also carries the mission of promoting Thai culinary culture.
The natural landscapes of China and Thailand have been intertwined for millennia, and the friendship between the two peoples is as enduring as the waters of the Chao Phraya River and the Yangtze River, flowing endlessly through time. Under the "Belt and Road" initiative, China-Thailand relations have reached new heights. Reignwood Group has innovatively created the Reignwood Park in Thailand, which further promotes green and sustainable development, embracing the 50th anniversary of China-Thailand diplomatic relations with a fresh perspective.
The park integrates ecological tourism, international education, cultural exchange, health and wellness, sports and leisure, and technological agriculture. Within the park, a Chinese building modeled after the "Renshou Hall" of the Summer Palace has been constructed, preserving intangible cultural heritage. This site has become a platform for hosting events such as the "Silk Road Imprints" photography exhibition and "Splendid Silk Road" cultural exchange activities, using cultural strength to promote people-to-people exchanges and deepen mutual understanding.
Since its founding 40 years ago, Mr. Yan Bin, Chairman of Reignwood Group, has consistently upheld a deep sense of patriotism, making continuous contributions to the economic and trade development as well as cultural exchange between China and Thailand. The visit of Prime Minister Paetongtarn not only further deepens the relationship between the two countries but also serves as a great encouragement for the Group’s growth in both nations. It stands as an important testament to the friendship and cooperation between China and Thailand. Reignwood Group will take this opportunity to continue adhering to the principles of openness, inclusiveness, and win-win cooperation, further strengthening its friendship and collaboration with Thai enterprises across various sectors, exploring new development opportunities together, and contributing to the growth of both China and Thailand.
