Tangible Cultural Heritage Protection

Reignwood Group has successfully acquired and restored valuable cultural relics including a Lotus-shaped celadon jar from the Northern Dynasties (A.D. 386-581), and Ru porcelains from the Song Dynasty (A.D. 960-1279), which are now exhibited at the Reignwood Museum and open to the public for free.

  • Popular during the Northern and Southern Dynasties, Lotus-shaped celadon jar is featured with lotus decorations and the main body looks like one lotus-shaped bowl put upside down on the other, representing the highest porcelain skill in the Northern and Southern Dynasties.

  • In the Northern Song Dynasty (A.D. 960-1279), Ru porcelain put Guan, Ge, Jun, Ding porcelains in shade, serving as the best porcelain at that time. It is home to Ruzhou, hence the name. With its exquisite craftsmanship and beautiful, pure, and fine body, Ru porcelain is hailed as the chief of porcelain in Chinese history.
