On July 1, the Belt and Road Youth Education Fund was officially established. The fund, with a total value  of 68 million yuan, was initiated by Mr. Yan Bin, Honorary President of Reignwood Culture Foundation.

The fund will be used for activities such as youth education and cultural exchanges and scientific and technological innovation in countries along the "Belt and Road", which will provide strong talent support for global economic development in the post-epidemic era.

The event was held with Beijing and Bangkok interacting online. At Reignwood Theatre in Beijing, Ms. Shen Zhu, secretary general of Reignwood Culture Foundation, pointed that over the years, Mr. Yan Bin has donated more than 1.5 billion yuan to the foundation, and has made outstanding contributions to the protection of human heritage, youth education, international cultural exchanges, etc., winning wide praise from the society.

On the same day, a series of cultural exchange activities such as "When East Meets West" online concert, Exhibition of Calligraphy by Shen Yinmo and Couplet Calligraphy by Contemporary Masters were also held, bringing the excellent traditional Chinese culture to Bangkok and promoting the communication between the two peoples of China and Thailand. Also, the ground-breaking ceremony of the KIS International School was held on the day.

On the site of Reignwood ASEAN Wellness Industrial Park in Bangkok, Mr. Yang Xin, minister-counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Thailand, said that the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Thailand has deepened, the high-quality joint construction of the "Belt and Road" has been kept advancing, and the economic and trade cooperation has yielded fruitful results.
