The China Development Forum (CDF) 2021 was held online and onsite at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing from 20th to 22nd March. The theme of this year's forum is 'China on a New Journey of Modernization'. Vice Premier of the State Council Han Zheng attended the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote speech. Chairman Yan was invited to the forum.
Han Zheng pointed that as China enters a new development stage, we will fully apply the new development vision and foster a new development paradigm with domestic circulation as the mainstay and domestic and international circulations reinforcing each other and The next five years will see China embracing high-quality development. The modernization that China wants to build is a modernization in which man and nature coexist in harmony, and we must unswervingly follow the path of high-quality development that prioritizes ecology and is green and low-carbon.
During the forum, Chairman Yan, together with other participants, conducted in-depth discussions in the form of cross-over dialogues centering around topics such as macro-economic policy during the 14th five year plan, wider high-standard opening up and comprehensive green transformation of society and economy.
