On December 25th, Uzbekistan Culture Day- A Journey to the Pearl of the Ancient Silk Road kicked off at Reignwood Theatre. The Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Vladimir Norov, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sayfullaev, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to China Bakhtiyor Saidov, and Vice president of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries Cheng Guoping attended the meeting.

This event was hosted by the Secretariat of Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in China, and the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and was supported by Reignwood Group. It is one of the wonderful events under the framework of the "Shanghai Cooperation Organization-Our Common Home" project, which aims to strengthen cultural exchanges between countries of the SCO family, allow people to understand the traditions and customs of different countries, and promote dialogue between civilizations.

Uzbekistan's Minister of Culture Sayfullaev said that, “the great Silk Road left not only tangible cultural heritages to the people of SCO member states, but also great humanistic tradition that connects countries and peoples and promotes human progress. I believe this event will open up new prospects for the strategic partnership between the Republic of Uzbekistan and China.”

Today, the "Silk Road Journey” global photography exhibition hosted by Reignwood Culture Foundation has gone through 20 stops, which has effectively promoted the exchanges and mutual learning of civilizations among countries, and strengthened the people to people bonds among the countries along the "Belt and Road". In the future, Reignwood Group will continue to play its role through implementing the War Horse strategy of "going out" to tighten cultural ties, build bridges for communication, and contribute to the further development of the "Belt and Road" Initiative.
